Hi my mother has respitory difficulties and is registered disabled due to her heart and lung condition. Do you think this would be unsuitable for her?

No Christina is the answer. The misses and i are sprightly 60 years old + and the ascent is a real challenge. To be honest i found the decent challenging as well with slippery wet steps.
Make sure you have antislip shoes and take a torch. You can't always see where the steps start or finish. The lighting they use is poor. Oxygen tank optional.
