WEBAug 28, 2012 — Silent Hill 3: PC version allows for 4096x4096 internally rendered textures, but I imagine it is only a select few, as many of the textures still are identical to the PS2 version. Depth of Field effect remains at the original PS2 resolution, thus creating a jaggy DoF effect in the PC version. Otherwise it's probably the best port. Silent Hill 4:

If Silent Hill 1, 2 or 3 or 4 will be released digitally, everyone should gift him/her a copy of each I've changed the OP of Silent Hill 2 to include both the new 16:9 FMVs and the AA override fix. WEBAug 28, 2012 — Since upgrading to Windows 10 I've been having issues with SH2 and SH3. Silent Hill 2 runs full screen but has a windows board around it like I'm running the game in windowed mode. Silent Hill 3 has a very thing white board around the entire screen when in full screen mode.

WEBOct 2, 2016 — Also i had no idea that Silent Hill games( tried with SH3 and SH4 ) support force feedback on PC! I am using XInput controllers(X1, X360) and vibration works perfectly if you install this tool( i am not an author just cant find original link right now ) There also was issue with Silent Hill 4 on Windows 10.

WEBSep 14, 2012 — Hmm can't seem to get any AA settings to enable in SH2, maybe it's a Nvidia thing. I'm alt tabbing out of the game and selecting AA Override in Nvidia control panel and tried various AA settings (8x / 32XCSAA / Supersample etc.) but the game is ignoring everything. (GTX 480 / latest driver).
