WEBNov 30, 2022 · Downpour runs incredibly bad on xenia, it crashes and makes you lose progress at sections, somewhat like homecoming on PC, but - if you use a patch on Silent Hill Downpour it lets you play through the entire game bug free ( which is how I played it )

But also important to mention the patch that restores the missing hauntings that were cut on from the pc version. Silent Hill Downpour can also be played on the Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia. Which often is lighter to run on systems than RPCS3.

WEBI played through homecoming on the PC port. There is a patch to make it run well enough. I had it crashing a few times tho. IMO, The game just really isn't worth playing. There's almost nothing to it other than having the Silent Hill name, and some plot connections.
