WEBI however highly recommend emulating the PS2 version using PCSX2, there's a few drawbacks in the PC version that aren't present in the PS2 version. With the latest changes to ThirteenAGs Fix and the Fog Fix from Nemesis2000 the PC Version ist nearly the best. Works perfect with Xbox 360 Controller.

WEBOct 22, 2021 · After playing both the PS2 version and the Enhanced Edition for PC back to back, I can safely say as someone who has been stuck on the PS2 version for many years: the Enhanced Edition is the definitive way to play Silent Hill 2 now. I'll be doing my yearly playthroughs on that version of the game for the foreseeable future.
